Job Description

The Sr. Electrical Engineer position focuses on design and development for updating machine outputs by extracting and analyzing performance data to evaluate system capabilities. This role focuses on lab-floor environments, requiring hands-on experience beyond typical production testing or maintenance work. Responsibilities include upgrading control systems and standardizing programming, with scope extending into machine building and design. The position offers flexible scheduling and remote work options (post onboarding)

Required Skills & Experience

~10 years of experience in a lab or production environment within machining.
Hands-on experience in a lab/test environment (not strictly production maintenance).
Electrical or controls background with exposure to programming and system updates.
Experience working with machine data, diagnostics, or performance analysis.
Ability to support work that extends beyond standard maintenance into system-level improvements.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with machine building or machine design.
Strong controls programming or PLC experience.
Background in modernizing or standardizing legacy systems.
Comfortable working in a flexible environment (4x10s, adjusted hours, partial remote for programming).
