Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an Azure/Microsoft 365 Architect to join the team supporting a commercial client. The Architect will be responsible for the following:

Architecture & Delivery
• Design and build AI agents and applications using Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, and Azure
OpenAI Service
• Develop Power Platform solutions: Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), Power Automate
(Cloud and RPA Flows), Dataverse, and AI Builder.
• Define and implement governance, safety, and lifecycle management for AI and agent-based
solutions, including prompt design standards, data access controls, and monitoring strategies
• Apply software engineering best practices: CI/CD, version control, and ALM via Azure DevOps
or GitHub.
• Provide training and guidance to client teams on solution usage, governance, and operational
best practices
Client Engagement & Presales
• Deliver client enablement through workshops, knowledge transfer sessions, and hands-on
training to ensure adoption of AI, Copilot, and Power Platform solutions
• Build robust client-facing solutions.
• Serve as a trusted advisor, proactively communicating risks and ensuring client satisfaction at
every stage.
• Participate in presales meetings, discovery sessions, and art-of-the-possible demonstrations
with prospective clients.
• Contribute to technical proposals, architecture documents, effort estimates, and statements of
work.

• Help clients identify high-value AI and automation use cases and translate them into phased
delivery roadmaps (discovery, design, and implementation).
Technical Leadership
• Provide technical direction and collaboration with fellow team members through reviews and
knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to internal reference architectures, solution accelerators, and delivery
playbooks.
• Establish and promote best practices for agentic AI governance, including responsible AI
usage, security controls, and compliance alignment
Continuous Learning
• Author thought leadership content: blog posts, white papers, and webinars.
• Stay current on Microsoft platform releases and pursue certifications; client offers incentives
for achieving targeted credentials

Required Skills & Experience

Experience & Consulting
• 10+ years delivering enterprise technology solutions; 5+ years on Microsoft data, AI, or Power
Platform in a client-facing capacity.
• Consulting or professional services background strongly preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with executive presence across all
stakeholder levels.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams in a fast-paced, remote consulting
environment.
Artificial Intelligence
• Hands-on experience with Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, and Azure OpenAI Service, and
development.
• Solid understanding of RAG architectures using Azure AI Search (vector indexing, hybrid
search, semantic reranking).
• Agentic AI frameworks such as Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, or LangGraph for multi-agent
orchestration.
• Familiarity with Azure AI Services: Document Intelligence, Language, Vision, and Speech.
Power Platform
• Expert-level Power Apps development (Canvas and Model-Driven applications).
• Expert-level Power Automate: Cloud Flows required; Desktop/RPA Flows a strong plus.
• Dataverse expertise: data modeling, security roles, and solution lifecycle management.
Data & Analytics
• Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Fabric and supporting data services where required to
enable AI and Power Platform solutions (including Microsoft Fabric and Azure data platform
components).
• Ability to design data models that support AI solutions, Copilot experiences, and business
applications
• Power BI proficiency: DAX, semantic models, report development, and workspace governance.
Development & Education

• Python proficiency required; C# / .NET a strong plus.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub for CI/CD and version control.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent
experience.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Consulting or professional services background
Power Platform and Power BI experience
Microsoft Fabric and data governance familiarity
Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure‑as‑code experience
Relevant Microsoft certifications
Python used in real production systems
Experience writing and maintaining code for data processing, automation, or model deployment
