Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to support Gas Turbine manufacturing operations in Greenville, SC. This role focuses on developing, verifying, and supporting CNC programs for complex multi axis machining of high temperature superalloy components. The programmer will work closely with Manufacturing Engineers and shop floor operators in a fast paced, team based industrial environment.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience generating and maintaining CNC programs using NX CAM (or similar CAM software)
• Ability to program 3, 4, and 5 axis machines (VMC, VBM, VTL, HBM, HMC, EDM)
• Hands on experience with Okuma, Haas, Siemens, and Fanuc controls
• Proficiency using Vericut to verify CNC programs prior to release
• Strong knowledge of macro/sub routine programming, Renishaw probing, and variable based programming
• Experience machining high temperature superalloys (HDGT or Aerospace components)
• Strong shop math skills (geometry & trigonometry)
• Ability to provide daily CNC programming and troubleshooting support on the shop floor

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience with Closed Loop Machining (CLM)
• Background supporting Manufacturing Engineers and training operators/programmers
• Experience in gas turbine or aerospace manufacturing environments
• Comfortable working in a matrixed, fast paced organization
