Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Full Stack Developer for a top client supporting internal web applications that directly impact business operations and day to day workflows. This individual will play a hands-on role in designing, developing, and maintaining high quality web applications while collaborating closely with business stakeholders, leadership, and operators. The role offers a strong mix of frontend, back end, database, and DevOps responsibilities, along with the opportunity to mentor a junior engineer and contribute to long term system improvements. This is a high visibility, hybrid role with a fast, one round interview process and strong potential for conversion.

Required Skills & Experience
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer & Information Science or equivalent experience
•2–3 years of professional software development experience
o(Recent grads considered if they have multiple co op or internship rotations)
•Strong experience with PHP (core backend language and database interaction)
•Intermediate to advanced experience with:
oPHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, jQuery
•Intermediate to advanced database experience:
oMicrosoft SQL Server
oMySQL
•Experience designing clean, efficient, and secure code
•Strong understanding of:
oAgile / Lean methodologies
oDevOps practices
oSecurity by Design principles
•Familiarity with coding standards and best practices: SOLID, DRY, YAGNI, TDD
•Experience with automated testing and deployment tools
•Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail
•Strong communication skills with the ability to be customer facing and interactive
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
•Real world enterprise application development experience
•Prior mentorship or leadership experience
•Experience working with multiple data feeds and integrations
•Exposure to quality metrics and production support environments
•Prior experience in web applications that support internal operations and staff
