Job Description
The NDT Level III serves as the technical authority for nondestructive testing at a large aerospace manufacturing facility producing flight‑critical turbine components. This individual is responsible for developing, approving, and maintaining NDT procedures; overseeing certification and training of NDT personnel; and ensuring full compliance with NAS 410, FAA, NADCAP, and customer requirements. The role partners closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality leadership to ensure inspection systems effectively detect defects while supporting safe, efficient production.

Required Skills & Experience
5-10 years of experience in nondestructive inspection engineering or technician roles
Current NDT Level III certification (NAS 410 and/or ASNT) in one or more methods (e.g., FPI/PT, RT/X‑Ray, UT, ET, MT)
Familiarity with ASNT standards
Experience developing, validating, documenting, and applying inspection methods for complex geometries and materials
Proficiency with nondestructive inspection modalities (CT, X‑ray, Ultrasonic, CMM, Blue Light scanning)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience in high level projects
New method introduction and implementation
Experience in Continuous Improvement initiatives
Software and data acquisition experience
Experience with turbine blades, airfoils, or hot‑section engine components (Aerospace in general)
