Insight Global is seeking a CMM Programmer to join the team of one of their top energy customers in Greenville, SC. The CMM Programmer is responsible for developing, validating, and supporting Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) programs to ensure accurate dimensional inspection of manufactured parts. This role partners closely with manufacturing and quality teams to support production, troubleshoot measurement issues, and drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

Required Skills & Experience
• Ability to generate, maintain, and verify CMM programs using PC DMIS (v. 2025.1 or similar)
• Experience programming parts in accordance with engineering standards and documented quality plans
• Hands on experience proving out CMM programs and validating measurement results
• Ability to set up, configure, and support CMM hardware and software
• Experience providing daily shop floor support, troubleshooting, and operator assistance
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively both independently and in a team based, fast paced environment
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree OR Machinist Apprentice graduate with 3+ years of dimensional inspection experience
OR
• High School diploma with 6+ years of dimensional inspection experience
• 3+ years of off line PC DMIS programming experience
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Strong proficiency interpreting engineering drawings with advanced GD&T knowledge (ASME Y14.5)
• Demonstrated experience programming and running Coordinate Measuring Machines
• Experience working with 3D solid models, preferably using Siemens NX
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science
• Structured light scanning experience (preferred: Zeiss Inspect Professional)
• Programming or scripting experience (VBA, Python, C++, or similar)
• Strong problem solving, organizational, and shop math skills (geometry and trigonometry)
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
• Experience inspecting aerospace or large, complex mechanical components
