Job Description

Job Summary
The Engineering Learning & Operations Specialist supports onboarding and training logistics to ensure new engineers have a smooth, consistent start. This includes scheduling rooms, coordinating catering, handling badges and safety requirements, greeting new hires, taking attendance, and facilitating foundational onboarding sessions. The role also supports computer setup, IT coordination, and communication with HR and engineering teams. Occasional travel to New York (approx. four times per year) may be needed.

Required Skills & Experience

Must‑Haves
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, HR, Psychology, Instructional Design, Operations, Project Management, or related field
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Ability to manage multiple systems, logistics, and workflows (rooms, catering, materials, IT access)
• Comfortable supporting onboarding tasks such as computer setup, basic tech coordination, and front‑desk check‑in
• Strong communication skills to align HR, IT, and engineering teams
• Willingness to travel occasionally and work onsite during active onboarding cycles

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Plusses
• Experience coordinating onboarding, training logistics, or learning operations
• Background supporting engineering or technical teams
• Familiarity with safety processes, keynote speaker coordination, and new‑hire day‑of logistics
• Experience facilitating culture or professional‑skills sessions
• Understanding of mentorship or early‑career programs
• Experience working with IT access processes
