Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Test Specialist to work for an energy company in Greenville, SC. They will be responsible for computer networking and programming of testing equipment within the component development and test lab. They will need to be able to read electrical schematics and perform preventative maintenance on electronic and mechanical systems so hands-on experience is preferred. Candidate will be configuring, operating, and maintaining instrumentation and data acquisition systems, so strong knowledge of data analytics is preferred as well. They will be responsible for support set up and facility troubleshooting as required. Candidate will need to be comfortable with domestic travel up to 25-45% of the time (up to 4 weeks at a time).

Required Skills & Experience

Associates Degree or higher in IT/Computer Networking related field (or relevant experience)
Knowledgeable with computer networking
Data analysis and data acquisition experience
Comfortability with different operating systems
Experience in execution of industrial equipment tests.
Familiar with testing equipment.
Experience with documenting test results.
Basic computer skills (MS Office & understand how to troubleshoot network issues)
Ability to travel 25-45% of the time, domestically & internationally.
