Insight Global is seeking a Automechanic for a client in Pelzer, SC. This is a fast-paced, wholesale-only automotive repair shop focused on delivering efficient, high-quality service. We’re looking for a skilled Auto Mechanic to join our team and handle a range of mechanical repairs—primarily suspension work and rear-wheel-drive transmission swaps. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a no-frills, production-focused environment and enjoys working on a variety of vehicles without the distractions of retail customer interactions. Your day will revolve around diagnosing and repairing suspension systems, performing transmission swaps on rear-wheel-drive vehicles, and completing other mechanical tasks as assigned. The shop generally avoids deep powertrain or engine work, you may occasionally handle simpler tasks like alternator replacements or EVAC system repairs. You’ll work closely with a team of experienced techs in a collaborative, high-output setting where precision and speed are equally valued.

Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience with suspension repair and rear-wheel-drive transmission swaps
- Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a wholesale, high-volume environment
- Familiarity with standard shop tools and safety protocols
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience with basic powertrain or engine work (e.g., alternators, EVAC systems)
- ASE certifications or equivalent training
- Comfort using digital diagnostic tools
