Insight Global is hiring a Senior Project Controls Specialist who knows cost control and scheduling using Primavera P6. This person will work mostly independently to manage project budgets, timelines, and reports, helping solve problems and keep projects on track.
Perform complex aspects of cost controls, estimates, and scheduling.
Report to program or portfolio level with minimal supervision.
Develop advanced skills and work independently, with guidance limited to unusual or complex projects or issues.
Fully competent in project controls principles and procedures.
Identify problems, develop solutions, and take actions to resolve them.

Bachelors in business, finance, project management, engineering, technical, or equivalent.
5 years of project controls experience.
Experience in cost and scheduling
Proficiency/Expertise with project management/project controls concepts, computer applications, and analytics.
P6 experience.
Master's degree in business, finance, project management, or equivalent.
PMI or AACE certification (acceptable certifications include PMP, CAPM, PMI-SP, AACE-CCC, AACE-PSP, AACE-CEP, AACE-EVP).
Experience with software such as MS Project/MS Office Suite, Primavera, Business Objects, Prolog, Passport, Visio, Powerplant, Emax, PeopleSoft.
Familiarity with risk management tools and Monte Carlo analysis.
