A client of Insight Globals in the automation & technology industry is seeking an Engineering Lead to govern & own the development of concept design for hardware engineering, specifically for automotive conveyor assembly for a client. This person should be an experienced professional familiar with automotive conveyors, preferably with the German OEMs such as Mercedes & Volkswagen. This individual will report to a Project Manager and will serve as a technical leader for a couple of hardware engineers. This job will entail understanding the standards of electrical engineering and will use design the basis for individual pieces of products to move to concept. This role will begin as an onsite role, with potential to move to hybrid as training completed.

4+ year experience with electrical design & engineering
Ability to execute electrical design tasks, including new project drawings, system modifications, and as-built documentation specific to automotive conveyor systems
Understanding of electrical engineering principles, especially EPLAN schematic creation in the automotive sector preferably VW/BMW/Mercedes
Experience with EPLAN
