Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an Operations Technician to join their team in Greenville, SC. This is an onsite position Monday-Friday 7am-4:30pm. An overview of the role is below:

Required Skills & Experience

- Track inventory (tools and materials) in internal system
- Interface with engineers and external vendors/suppliers for shipping and receiving tools
- Interpersonal skills must be able to communicate cross-functionally with internal and external teams
- Maintain PPE and consumables supply
- Escalate preventative maintenance tasks and contact facilities for any building issues as needed
- Logistics support as it relates to getting equipment from one building to another, and ensuring everything is properly packaged for shipping
- Excel background tracking of tool database
- Read schematics and interpret drawings for tools and assist engineers in any changes that need to be made
- Comfortability with hand tools and woodshop tools (drill press, table saw, etc)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

3-5 years in plant or manufacturing environment
Familiar with EHS and safety procedures (LOTO)
Comfortability with hand tools, basic preventative maintenance, and shipping equipment
Computer skills Excel, Outlook
Strong interpersonal skills
Self-starter with willingness to learn and multitask
