Job Description

The Transportation Hydraulics Engineer will design hydraulic systems for transportation projects in both urban and rural settings. Candidates must hold an active Professional Engineering (PE) license and possess proficiency in design software such as Microstation, GeoPack, SUDA, and OpenRoads. Experience in hydraulic design, including ditches, pipe culverts, storm sewer systems, outfall analysis, and drainage investigations, is required.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's Degreen in Engineering (Civil or Environmental)
Experience with roadway hydraulic design, including ditches, small pipe culverts, storm sever systems, outfall analysis, and drainage investigations in rural and urban areas
Working knowledge of design software like Microstation, GeoPack Drainage, and SUDA (Subsurface Utility Design & Analysis) or OpenRoads (ORD)
PE License (Professional Engineer)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience working on DOT projects in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, or Tennessee
