We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join a growing Water Design Center team, focused on delivering structural designs for water and wastewater treatment facilities and related infrastructure. This role involves leading project teams and overseeing the structural components of complex water infrastructure projects from concept through construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead structural design efforts for treatment facilities, pump stations, tanks, vaults, and supporting structures such as process basins, chemical buildings, and retaining walls.
- Manage and mentor a team of junior engineers, designers, and technicians to deliver plans, specifications, and construction documents.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (civil, mechanical, electrical, I&C) and external stakeholders to ensure cohesive project execution.
- Ensure quality assurance and adherence to design standards and internal processes.
- Support structural group leadership in scheduling, budget monitoring, and resource management.
- Perform site visits for assessments and provide support during construction phases.
- Foster team development through mentorship and training, encouraging professional growth and increasing project responsibility among junior staff.
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards for quality and timeliness.

Bachelors degree in civil or structural engineering
10+ years of technical experience in environmental structural design engineering
Technically competent in structural engineering design in concrete, masonry, aluminum and structural steel
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE)
Understanding of the structural complexities associated with water and wastewater treatment equipment
Masters degree in civil or structural engineering
Registered Structural Engineer (SE)
