Job Description

Assist with the cleanout of metal 3D Printers (vacuuming/sieving powder, cleaning filters, optics, other equipment, troubleshooting and resolution of minor issues
Monitor printers during build ensuring adequate powder while resolving minor errors
Complete all required quality checks (visual) while completing required information in Manufacturing Execution System
Perform OPM and assist with PMs/Calibrations as needed on printers
Fully cleanout and re-process and store powder as needed
Perform basic water spider duties including queueing of parts at operations, close out MES operations and paperwork, issue resolution as required
Ability to communicate and interact effectively with other technicians and engineers in the area
Ability to support Additive Lean cell in the loading/unloading and basic operation of powder removal, wire EDMs, build plate machining as needed
Participation in 5S activities, Kaizen Activities, safety concerns resolution and other continuous improvement projects
Ability to wear PPE including PAPR (Powered Air-Purifying Respirator) when handling metal powder
Ability to stand/walk for ~6hours per day
Ability to lift 35lbs occasionally throughout day
Ability to climb ladders/work on and around equipment

Required Skills & Experience

Associate degree in CNC Machining, Welding, Mechatronics or related field and 2yrs experience, OR 4+ years of applicable experience in a manufacturing environment
