ONSITE Electrical Maintanence Technician

Day to Day:
Insight Global is looking for a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team. This hands-on technical role focuses on heavy electrical control panel work, including testing, diagnosing, and repairing electrical issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics and instrumentation, with a focus on controls.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret and work with electrical blueprints to identify and resolve issues.
Perform testing, diagnosing, and repairing of control panels and related equipment.
Work inside machine control panels, dealing with motor contacts and other components.
Assist with preventative maintenance tasks and ensure proper functioning of emergency stops on new equipment.
Collaborate with mechanical technicians to support overall maintenance efforts.

2-3+ years of experience in an industrial setting
Heavy experience with electrical control panels and reading electrical blueprints and schematics
Ability to diagnose and repair electrical issues based on technical drawings
Excellent problem-solving skills and an electrical thought process.

Associates degree and/or additional schooling
Experience with industrial electrical work, including conduits and circuit creation.
Familiarity with microprocessor-based systems.
