Insight Global is seeking an Environmental Engineer to support a large Civil and Environmental Engineering Client. This client's services include environmental consulting, emissions testing, engineering, and surveying.
This individual can work out of any of the following offices: Asheville, NC, Greenville, SC, or Lexington, SC.
The day-to-day includes:
* Managing projects effectively, handling multiple tasks simultaneously, and delivering high-quality results. This includes understanding scheduling, cost control, and meeting client deadlines while proactively identifying and resolving potential issues under the guidance of senior leadership.
* Preparing environmental permit applications for industrial and municipal clients to obtain environmental permits for new sources or modified sources.
* Being a subject matter expert by staying up-to-date on relevant regulations and using that knowledge to support industrial and municipal clients with compliance with environmental regulations (air, water, wastewater, EPCRA, and stormwater) and solve project challenges.
* Mastering the latest technology and software to ensure efficient and effective project completion.
* Supporting the sales team in attracting new business.

* B.S. Engineering
* 5+ years of experience working as an environmental engineering consultant in permitting and compliance
* EIT or PE certifications in SC or NC
