Insight Global is seeking a WAN Engineer to join one of our largest federal clients in an effort to keep the Air Forces network up and secure in South West Asia. This candidate will be working in a lab environment designing and engineering the enterprise WAN architecture along with configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting a global network. Have the capability to be a training representative for everyone on site with Cisco Routers and Switches. Provide written reports and presentations to government leaders and other decision-makers on the status of the program. The position will be on Shaw Airforce base in Sumter, SC. There will be 25% travel involved over 2 years you will spend 60 days in South West Asia with some travel to Alabama.
- A.S. in a related field with 5 years of relevant experience; or 8 years of relevant experience
- Active CCNP
- ITIL Foundation (60 days after the start date)
- Microsoft server installation experience
- Firewall experience
- Experience supporting the Air Force and local base environments
