The Data Scientist provides support in making strategic, data related decisions by analyzing, managing, manipulating and reporting data. This role will use their coding proficiency to gain insights from various sources of data, regardless of size or format. This role works to help bridge the gap between the technical aspect of data and business strategy. The Data Scientist will use their understanding of leading data analysis tools and databases to provide a wide variety of data analysis and visualizations. The Data Scientist will review requirements and create tools that will support decision making at all levels of the organization.
Proficient experience with Tableau, PowerBI, and Python
Advanced Excel
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Project management skills including the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders
Ability to clearly communicate, both verbally and written, complex data analysis in business terms
Strong Visualization skills
Bachelors Degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science or similar field required.
Experience working with advanced analytics tools, and software such as Tableau, Power BI and Python as well as data languages and programming
Experience with Business Warehouse.
Data analysis experience in manufacturing/sales organization preferred.
Demonstrated competency in spreadsheet design, analysis, and reporting with demonstrated command of advanced functions and formulas
Knowledge of applied statistics
