Job Description

A client is looking for a Dynamics Technician to sit in Greenville, SC. The individual would be responsible for all aspects of the dynamic data acquisition systems, instrumentation and data collection. This role will be 99% in the dynamic lab working with dynamic test equipment, and some assisting with calibrations. They will be responsible for providing feedback to engineering teams on instrumentation behavior and selections, assembling and checkouts of data systems required for testing, understanding and procuring materials required for field site infrastructures and overseeing and installing infrastructures at customer locations. They will also be responsible for tracking all instrumentation and calibration certification test set up and operating data systems during testing to ensure the data is correct. Preferably, the client would like someone with formal or military training with PMEL, NEC 6673, TMDE, or Digital Signal Processing Experience FFT. The hours for this role are 7:30-4:30, Monday-Friday with occasional overtime, and travel required (sometimes internationally). Required Skills & Experience

Experience with equipment calibrations

Experience with dynamic instrumentation- accelerometers, dynamic pressures, strain gages, PLCs, etc. Dynamic Equipment High frequency measurement systems, voltage dividers, data recorders, Fluke multi-meters,

Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generators etc.

Cable and data system installations and terminations

Field support/installations

Instrumentation and Controls (I&C)

Advanced user of all MS Office programs

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Preferably, experience with formal or military training in one or more of the following:

PMEL

NEC 6673 - General Purpose Electronic Test Equipment

TMDE - Test Measurement Diagnostic Equipment

Digital Signal Processing Experience -- FFT
