Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Facilities & Construction Project Manager/Engineer to support a small business Prime contractor that specializes in Professional Services for the federal government. This person will support the development and implementation of repair, alternative, and maintenance projects at Joint Base Charleston, SC. The candidate will provide project management services during the project development phase, project design phase, project procurement phase, project construction phase, claims, and post-construction phase, in addition to other services. As a customer advocate, the Project Manager/Engineer supports the development and implementation of projects across the project lifecycle, including site inspections, requirements development, statement of work and specification preparation, design review, acquisition support, installation inspection, and quality control, start-up, and commissioning, testing, claims, and warranty services. Also, provides expert advice in support of the customer's decisions in the implementation of the project to ensure work assignments are properly coordinated and procedures implemented to accomplish the services required. A strong candidate must have experience generating reports, such as quarterly progress reports, monthly data review reports, and ability to coordinate with stakeholders and multiple subcontractors and ability to translate complex ideas into processes and tactical plans.

Required Skills & Experience

* US Citizen with ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Structural or Civil Engineering (or similar Engineering degree)

* 3+ years of experience developing and managing facilities and construction projects involving mechanical engineering work in support of facilities construction and maintenance

* Ability to support contract through July 2024

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* Military experience a plus; Knowledge of Air Force design criteria

* Strong experience developing cost estimates and knowledge of critical path methodology schedules and SABER engineering requirements.

* Ability to perform site visits/investigations, including climbing ladders, accessing roofs, etc.

* Professional Engineer license or Project Manager Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.

* Experience utilizing the following software/databases: E4Clicks, Microsoft Office Products, Including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, Microsoft Project and Primavera, Adobe Acrobat, SharePoint



* Experience using Air Force simplified acquisition of base engineering requirements (SABER) contracts to fulfill engineering requirements on a variety of projects, ranging from small renovations to large-scale infrastructure needs involving pipelines, electrical substations, and life safety issues.
