GI Medicine
A client of Insight Global is looking for a RN or LPN to work for one of the largest healthcare systems in the Charleston area. This clinician will be working for a GI medicine unit and operate Monday-Friday 8-5pm (possibility to work 7:30-4pm, 8-4:30pm, and 8:30-5pm). Daily responsibilities will include patient intakes, in-basket messaging, rooming patients, patient education, sometimes giving infusions when the infusion nurse is not there, collecting vitals, charting through epic, and anything else the provider might need. This practice sees anywhere from 60-80 patients a day, so this clinician needs to be comfortable with a fast-paced environment. For this location, clinicians will have to park in a different location and be shuttled to and from work.
GI Surgery
A client of Insight Global is looking for a RN or LPN to work for one of the largest healthcare systems in the Charleston area. This CMA will be working for a GI surgery unit and operate Monday-Friday 8-5pm (possibility to work 7:30-4pm, 8-4:30pm, and 8:30-5pm). This clinician will be very hands on with the clinic procedures and help the provider by passing instruments to them. They will also work through in-basket messages, help with education, give fluids, chart through epic, and anything else that is needed. This clinic sees anywhere from 30-60 patients a day. This practice solely operates on surgeries and sees anything from Gastric bypasses to colorectal surgeries. This clinician needs to be reliant, willing to take initiative, friendly and flexible. For this location, clinicians will have to park in a different location and be shuttled to and from work.
Required Skills & Experience
* RN license
* BLS certification
* Inpatient or outpatient experience
* Epic experience
* Reliable, flexible, engaging, and friendly with patients
