Insight Global is seeking a Software Developer to join a federal client of ours in the Charleston, SC area. This individual will join a team of 19 to support a local Navy program. This individual needs to be have at least 2 years of experience with C#, HTML and Unity (or affiliated technologies). This position is hybrid, on site 1-2 times a week for meetings or may go on site. Hours are flexible but must be present during core hours of 9AM EST- 2PM EST.
* Bachelor's degree (optional but preferred) with two years' work experience or equivalent total experience.
* Understanding of game design and user interface systems
* Proficiency in C# programming language, ability to utilize/convert existing code base from past projects
* Professional experience developing in Unity Technologies' game engine, including familiarity with UnityEngine library, sublibraries, and different project settings
* Proficiency in Web Design, to include Java Script, CSS, and HTML
* Eligible to hold secret clearance
* Ability to effectively communicate technical work to a variety of audiences through verbal and written methods
* Familiarity with WinForms application development using C#
* Experience with collaboration/configuration management tools such as Confluence, SVN, TFS, or Git
* Experience creating and maintaining relational database management systems such as Microsoft SQL Server and SQLite
* Understanding of Agile methodology of software development
