Job Description: Insight Global is looking for a GIS Analyst to join a large engineering firm in Charlotte, NC. This GIS Analyst will be supporting GIS projects for the southeast GIS team. This will include working in a team environment while using GIS experience with analyses using tools such as Spatial ModelBuilder, Python, and other GIS languages.
Bachelor's degree in Geography, Planning, Engineering, Natural Sciences or closely related field
A minimum of 5 years of practical GIS experience; an advanced degree in relevant field may offset 4 years of experience
Proficient in use of ArcGIS and ArcGIS extensions (3D Analyst, Spatial Analyst, Publisher, etc)
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
GISP, AICP, PE or other professional certification a plus
