Insight Global is seeking an Entry-Level CAD Design Engineer to join one of their top clients in Greenville, SC. The client is flexible with remote work once the candidate is up and running. The ideal candidate will have either a Bachelor's in Engineering, Science, Technology or Math, or have a Technical Associates degree with at least 2 years of design/drafting experience. The candidate will be joining a design team that focuses on developing new technical solutions, processes, and automation software. The engineer will work closely with design engineering and manufacturing to resolve challenging company-wide problems and effectively communicate across all levels of the organization. This person will also be creating parametric 3D models with PMI (Product & Manufacturing Information), Bill of Materials, and 2D drawings supporting conceptual design through final build. This opportunity is an entry-level role with huge opportunity for growth, and the client is seeking candidates with a strong desire to grow within drafting and design.
Bachelors in Engineering or a STEM major (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math), or a Technical Associates degree with minimum 2 years' design/drafting experience.
Internship or professional experience within the field
Proficiency with CAD platform (ex: NX)
Strong interest in growing within drafting and design
Driven, self-starter, and problem solver
