Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Power BI Developer to join the team sitting fully remote in support of a Federal client. The individual will be responsible for the following:
* Serve as a Power BI developer supporting the Operations and Quality Assurance (OQA) unit
* Act as main point of contact for development of business intelligence reports and analytics based on requirements from other functional units
* Utilize Power BI and/or Power Apps to develop dashboards and/or reports for data analytics and reporting
* Leverage relational database (e.g., SQL) content for reporting purposes
* Assist with maintenance of an existing metadata extract developed using the PHP language/XML to pull from Microsoft Visio
* Assist with proposing solutions that solve/alleviate client problems
* Develop and share intellectual capital that furthers team efficiency or performance (e.g., documenting internal practices, proposals to improve team practices, etc.)
* Participate in quality control or configuration management within a team setting
* Provide regular status reports and quarterly status briefs on ongoing team work efforts
* Facilitate team meetings and develop materials, including briefings, agendas, and minutes
Minimum Requirements
* 8 years relevant experience in a related field
* Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (e.g., IT or Computer Science) or 3 additional years of relevant experience
* Advanced skills in business intelligence tools, specifically Microsoft Power BI and Power Apps, that allow for independent execution of requests for report and dashboard development
* Familiarity with tools for database maintenance, analysis, and reporting (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server including writing queries)
* Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including SharePoint and Teams
* Direct customer engagement experience
* Demonstrated ability to learn new technical skills
