Job Description

A client of Insight Global is looking to bring on an HR Director. The Human Resource Director will plan, lead and coordinate HR best practices in the areas of recruitment, benefits, compensation, employee relations, performance management and training while supporting the company culture and its core mission. The HR Director will assume responsibility for legal compliance, state and federal employment laws, and policy development and implementation. This position will assist with M&A due diligence and activities that impact human resource integration.



Key Responsibilities:

* Drives consistent delivery of HR policies and procedures across the organization and ensures compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations that pertain to Human Resources

* Manages the full cycle of talent acquisition, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding processes

* Develops and maintains competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract and retain top talent while adhering to legal requirements

* Leads and manages the HR team, providing guidance and support in all HR matters.

* Partners with Leadership team to understand HR needs and provide effective solutions

* Develops the HR operating procedures and plans for mergers and acquisitions in alignment with business objectives

* Collaborates with leadership to execute mergers and acquisitions and ensure alignment of the organization's HR agenda with business goals and objectives

* Develops job descriptions and KPIs for positions in partnership with management

* Identifies training needs and develops training programs to meet organizational current and future needs

* Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations

* Provides guidance and support to managers and employees regarding employee relations matters, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans

* Monitors and analyzes HR data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement

* Stays updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance HR strategies, ideas and solutions

* Collaborates with Entity Leaders, Executive Team, and Managers across all entities

* Develops people focused aspects of M&A activity, maintain scalable HR focused M&A processes, identify lessons learned and ensure continuous process improvements

Required Skills & Experience

* Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field

* Merger or acquisition experience

* 10+ years of Human Resources generalist experience

* 5 years of management experience

* Deep understanding of core HR disciplines, including employee relations, compensation & benefits, and organizational development

* M&A project management experience including negotiations and integration planning

* Advanced program management skills and a demonstrated ability to lead cross functional teams and external advisers

* Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality

* Thorough knowledge of employment related laws and regulations

* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* HR Certification such as SHRM-CP, PHR or SPHR
