Assignment Overview
Insight Global is looking for a Technical Analyst to join a leading agrciulture company. This is starting as a 12 month contract, onsite in Saskatoon. The Technical Analyst will provide hands-on technical leadership for the implementation and sustainment of enterprise Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) applications.
The resource will support current COTS implementation and transition into ongoing sustainment and portfolio ownership, including management of an existing suite of low-touch applications (desktop and SaaS-based).
This role requires a hands-on technical resource who can execute system configuration, administration, and troubleshooting activities while also supporting license management, vendor coordination, and operational sustainment across multiple applications.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Delivery & Implementation
• Perform hands-on system configuration, setup, and troubleshooting
• Support environment setup (development, test, production)
• Execute and support system integration activities (APIs, data flows, file transfers)
• Participate in data migration, validation, and testing (SIT/UAT)
• Identify and resolve technical issues, including root cause analysis

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in IT, systems analysis, or application delivery
• Hands-on experience with COTS or vendor-led implementations
• Strong experience with:
• System configuration and administration
• Application troubleshooting and support
• Supporting multiple systems in a portfolio-based model
• Experience with software license management or vendor coordination
• Experience working across infrastructure, application, and security teams
• Experience with user access and identity management
• Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Preferred Experience
• Experience supporting multiple enterprise applications simultaneously
• Experience with platforms such as SAP, ServiceNow, Deswik, MineSight, or similar
• Experience in mining, engineering, or industrial environments
