This position reports to the Senior Manager, Corporate Procurement. This position will support the Finance, Corporate Development & Strategy, & SHE pillar under Corporate Procurement. The category of spend managed within this pillar includes consulting and professional services, general services, office supplies, software, and contingent workforce,.
The Advisor role will be engaged develop and execute plans for procuring services in line with Procurements targets. The assignment will provide strategic partnerships to buyers and internal customers The Advisor will be responsible for managing and analyzing spend data
Extracting, analyzing, and managing spend data from both SAP ECC & Oracle
Negotiate with suppliers and develop Contracts with favorable terms and conditions
Assess industry & supplier landscape by performing market research and supplier due diligence
Gathering scopes of work, specifications, volumes, etc., to guide Internal Customer needs by developing RFx package
Coordination of internal stakeholders discussion on RFx package and evaluation
Analyze RFx supplier proposals and bid evaluation results to make supplier selection recommendations
Writing contract executive summaries & securing contract signatures to maintain records up to date
Administration of contracts & amendments in the appropriate Nutrien Contract Management and Sourcing systems
Resolving invoicing/payment issues with corporate buyers and suppliers
Monitoring and tracking of contract & spend compliance & savings
Assist in developing and executing the Corporate spend strategy in line with Nutrien Procurements objectives,
Support the Corporate Procurement Management team with the development, planning, and implementation of Procurement initiatives impacting the Business Unit through indirect spend data subject matter expertise
Act as a subject matter expert on indirect spend data (goods and services) and S2C/P2P Procurement process
Understanding of Supplier Portal and SAP Ariba tools, systems, and processes and how they are integrated with all Systems (SAP/Oracle)
Work closely with peers (Corporate Procurement leads and advisors, Management Leads, Management Analysts, Nutrient Leads, Governance & Enablement team) and Leadership Team to ensure the procurement S2P tool kit addresses customer needs

Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field
Certifications in disciplines such as Procurement (SCMP/CPSM), Lean / Six Sigma, or Operational Planning preferred
Minimum ~5 years relevant industry experience with 3 years experience in strategic sourcing and supply chain management. Experience with Consulting Services, Facilities, Aviation, Engineering, Travel Management, Corporate Card, Managed Services, and SHE contracts preferred. Other areas of relevance include IT procurement, contingent workforce and Office Supplies.
Experience in supply chain and procurement, including negotiations, strategy development and implementation, supplier relationships, contract management, forecasting, risk management, rebate allocation, and S2P processes and tools.

Clear and thorough understanding of, and practical experience with, enterprise asset management systems (SAP/Oracle), spend management tools (e.g., Ariba, Analysis & Reports), data management tools, and S2P systems (eProcurement)
Advanced MS Excel skills, PowerBI, and dashboarding experience would also be an asset
High degree of ethics, discretion, honesty, fairness, and sound business practices to secure and maintain Nutriens reputation in the market
