Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Lead AI Engineer for a large health insurance client of ours. The primary focus initially for this role is to build conversational AI voice and chatbots that will support the outgoing campaign call team. We have 15 use cases to start with for example, scheduling doctors’ appointments, identifying gaps in care and barriers to care, selecting PCPs etc.. Other key parts are to be a leader/mentor and help guide our other developers as they gain ai experience/knowledge.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience building chatbots, voice conversational AI, and assistants
• Strong experience with multi-turn conversation design
• Experience with context and memory handling
• Generative AI / LLM experience
o Hands-on experience with LLM platforms (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, etc.)
o Strong prompt engineering experience
• Strong Python skills
• Experience within a Medicare or Regulated environment: HIPPA, etc.
• Experience with APIs, services, and cloud platforms - Azure
• Experience building and deploying production systems
• Prompt Chains and Orchestration experience
• RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) experience
