Job Description
e are hiring a Senior .NET Developer to support a critical healthcare application hosted in an on-premises Aetna environment. This role will focus on enhancing an existing application, supporting underwriting systems, and delivering scalable solutions in a Microsoft technology stack.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze existing applications and implement enhancements and improvements
Design and develop solutions using Microsoft technologies
Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate needs into technical solutions
Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and present solutions to the business
Work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal oversight
Contribute to application development supporting large-scale underwriting systems
Technology Stack
ASP.NET (Razor) – front-end framework
SQL Server – database development and optimization
JavaScript – front-end functionality
On-prem hosting environment

Required Skills & Experience
7+ years of experience in .NET / Microsoft development
Strong hands-on experience with:
ASP.NET / Razor
SQL Server
JavaScript
Experience working in on-premises environments
Proven ability to work as a self-starter with minimal supervision
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience in healthcare insurance IT environments
Background supporting underwriting or large enterprise applications
Experience modernizing or enhancing legacy systems
