Job Description
Insight Global is sourcing for a Senior Infrastructure Architect, to join a leading health solutions company that provides healthcare and retail pharmacy services. This position will be critical in the midst of a full subsidiary buyout, with focus on migration of current companies hosted infrastructure and applications. The Sr. Infrastructure architect will own the end‑to‑end design and migration of a highly fragmented, company‑hosted environment into a fully standalone infrastructure. The role requires deep IBM iSeries and AIX expertise, strong cross‑platform fluency (Linux, x86), and the ability to turn a chaotic current state into a clean, future‑ready architecture. This includes migrating IBM iSeries and AIX systems, rebuilding Disaster Recovery capabilities, and establishing a fully independent infrastructure footprint—on‑premises, cloud, or hybrid—based on the buyer’s future-state requirements. This role is ideal for a senior advisor who has lived through complex divestitures, understands legacy enterprise systems, and can architect solutions across multiple platforms while eliminating technical debt along the way.
Compensation: $_70_/hr. to $_85_/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience
- Deep experience with IBM iSeries and AIX, as well as exposure to on-premises X86 and Linux
- Solution oriented mindset, ability to identify problems AND create a solution
- Background planning, designing, and/or executing migration of these infrastructures
- Familiarity with network design, particularly considerations impacting application and automated workflow performance/latency
- Network architecture knowledge Understanding of how network topology impacts application performance and automated workflows.
- Ability to create detailed architecture diagrams and documentation Skilled at mapping complex environments and designing clear future‑state models.
