Job Description

Insight Global’s Client is seeking a Full-Time Sewing Machine Operator to join its production team. This role focuses on custom sewing and finishing work using manual, single-needle lockstitch machines. The ideal candidate has experience working with varied textiles—including leather—and is comfortable problem-solving in a non-repetitive, custom manufacturing environment.
This is not an automated sewing role. Candidates must have hands-on experience in traditional needle trades.

Required Skills & Experience

- 1–10 years of sewing machine experience
- Background in needle trades, including:
Apparel manufacturing
Fabrication
Upholstery
- Proven experience with manual sewing machines (no automated-only backgrounds)
- Experience in finishing processes
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience in custom or small-batch manufacturing
- Ability to problem-solve and adapt to one-off or unique builds
- Comfortable working with multiple textiles, including leather
- Background in environments where no two jobs are exactly the same
