Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Senior C#/.NET backend engineer to support and enhance existing backend systems while contributing to several targeted initiatives that improve overall performance and team velocity. This role is heavily backend‑focused, involving API development, event‑driven pipelines, and messaging frameworks such as Kafka or Azure Service Bus. The ideal candidate brings at least 5 years of server‑side engineering experience, with strong skills in databases, data access layers, and performance optimization - along with a proven ability to build scalable RESTful APIs in .NET. Strong communication skills are essential, as this engineer will work closely with the team to articulate technical approaches and ensure efficient execution.

Required Skills & Experience
• 5-7+ years developing in C#/.NET with a focus on server‑side engineering
• Strong experience with databases, data access layers, and performance optimization
• Proven track record building scalable RESTful APIs in .NET
• Proficiency with event/messaging platforms such as Kafka or Azure Service Bus
• Excellent communication skills, able to clearly articulate ideas and technical approaches
