Job Description

A healthcare insurance provider is seeking an AI Program Coordinator to join their team remotely. This person will play a critical role in advancing AI governance and audit operations across the enterprise. This position requires strong expertise in AI concepts and responsible AI practices, with a focus on scaling and maturing operational processes for AI audits. The coordinator will engage with diverse stakeholders, including executives, to manage expectations and ensure alignment on strategic AI initiatives. Responsibilities include supporting governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) activities, overseeing AI audit operations, managing workflow tools like JIRA, and driving continuous improvement through agile methodologies. The ideal candidate will have experience in AI program management, stakeholder coordination, and compliance, with the ability to identify automation opportunities and track progress against strategic goals and OKRs. A background in GRC or audit operations is a plus, as the role aims to enable responsible AI adoption while delivering scalability and operational maturity across the organization.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience as a Program Coordinator or related role supporting a digital organization
• Strong conceptual understanding of AI including AI risks and Large Language Models
• Proficiency with JIRA or similar workflow tools
• Understanding of agile practices and sprint planning
• Experience with reporting tools such as PowerBI or Tableau

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Background/understanding of governance, risk, and compliance, preferably as it relates to AI
