A large healthcare company is seeking an experienced Ping IAM engineer/architect to join its enterprise security team. The client is over $370Bn in revenue and operates over 9,000 locations. They are dedicated to putting people first from their customers to their employees, engaging with customer feedback to further innovate to provide the best care possible, simplifying processes for care, creating a trusting environment, and to creating the safest and highest quality of care to keep patients protected. The ideal candidate will have extensive solution-building experience in Authentication & Access Management across various Ping Identity products, including PingFederate, Ping DaVinci, PingOne, PingCentral, PingAccess, PingDirectory, AWS, and PingID Mobile. This role focuses on architecture/engineering rather than operations. They will be helping to design around the existing Ping solution for IAM to expand its reach and capabilities, as well as help integrate Ping with more elements of their environment. They will be responsible for roadmaps and enabling the next-gen solution and work with stakeholders acting as the SME to deliver IAM Authentication & Access Management solution design per their business requirements including POC and documentation. It is ideal that this architect has a background implementing solutions for web, mobile, computer (laptop, etc.), infrastructure, and API authentication use cases.
Compensation:
$65-73/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

- 10-15+ years experience in IAM (authentication & access management), security engineering / Architecture
- 8+ years architecting solutions for access management tools (Ping, Delinea, Beyondtrust ForgeRock, Siteminder, EntraID)
- 3+ years of Ping engineering/ implementation experience having built solutions, not just operations/onboarding
- 10+ years in authentication / MFA (FIDO, PKI, Mobile MFA, OTP, FIDO key, Biometric authentication, behavior & risk-based authentication)
- At least 3+ years of experience with Ping Identity products, including PingFederate, Ping DaVinci, PingMFA, PingRisk and PingOne
- 2+ years in access management (Password vault, platform access, endpoint access, elevated access control)
- 2+ years in Zero Trust (using Zscaler or equivalent, CASB solutions)
-Experience with JSON
-Familiarity with security standards and protocols such as SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and LDAP
- Ability to gather requirements and translate to technical specs
Hands on experience designing architectural patterns and solution design documents
