One of our large retail clients is looking for a junior to mid-level Apptio Analyst with a strong background in IT finance, data analysis, and reporting. This role is ideal for someone with 3-5 years of experience, particularly in Technology Business Management (TBM), who is comfortable with Apptio configuration, report building, and data analysis.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with IT financial data, strong proficiency in Excel, and the ability to translate complex datasets into meaningful business insights. This is a fully remote role. It would be a plus to the team if the candidate is local to RI or CT for team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Configure and maintain Apptio to support Technology Business Management (TBM) processes.
Develop and optimize reports and dashboards within Apptio to provide insights into IT finance and business value.
Analyze and integrate financial and IT data from multiple sources, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
Utilize Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data merging, and financial modeling) to support IT financial reporting.
Work closely with IT finance teams to translate IT spend into corresponding business value.
Identify discrepancies across datasets and resolve inconsistencies between different views of financial data.
Assist in the continuous improvement of Apptio processes and workflows, ensuring best practices are followed.
Support the creation of PowerPoint presentations and visual reports to communicate insights to stakeholders.
Compensation: $35-55/HR Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Hands-on experience with Apptio (configuration, report building, and data integration).

Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Previous experience in a mid-to-large-sized organization with complex IT finance structures.
Experience with SQL for data querying and analysis.
