Job Description
This position will plan, develop, implement, and evaluate both programs. This includes synthesizing outcomes for federal grant management and reporting; supporting community-level action, contract management, and advisory bodies; conducting quality improvement to understand and remove existing barriers to high-quality coordinated systems of care; consistent and meaningful stakeholder engagement.
Essential job functions include:
* Writing and coordinating the writing process for federal grant evaluation reporting.
* Provide technical assistance and training support to MCH programs concerning maternal health.
* Participate in and provide input to regular project / program meetings and teleconferences.
o Represent RIDOH MCH on Region 1 calls
o Attend AMCHP Conference and provider engagement calls
* Promote effective coordination, collaboration, communication, and synergy across other strategic programs through cross program assignments.
* Support program development through project conceptualization, proposal development, identification of partners, identification and recruitment of key staff, and oversight / engagement in project and policy implementation.
* Support RI's Pregnancy Postpartum Death Review Committee in adhering to CDC's best practice quality improvement.
* Meet ERASE Maternal Morbidity data collection and evaluation standards.
* Compile and quality assure data collected/generated by RI MomsPRN clinical partners and contracted practices/providers for periodic grant reporting, including behavioral health screening data, provider self-efficacy surveys, and teleconsultation line utilization.
* Assist with the development of an electronic tracking system of RI MomsPRN provider outreach and professional education sessions as well as help finalize a data dictionary of teleconsultation line encounters in accordance with evolving grant specifications.
* Coordinate RIDOH related activities and approvals to support research efforts of Brown University staff to analyze perinatal All-Payor Claims Data and other MCH information.
* Help inform and review evaluation reports of RI MomsPRN practice supports and teleconsultation services developed by research consultants hired by program partners.
* Collaborate with RIDOH Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring System (PRAMS), Geographic Information System (GIS), Pediatric Psychiatry Resource Network (PediPRN), and Health Inventory survey staff for supplemental perinatal behavioral health data collection and reporting, especially relating to health equity.

Education and Experience:
* At least two years of advanced level experience in data collection and analysis (not including coursework).
* Ability to operationalize an analysis request and independently determine suitable output.
* Ability to manage multiple sources of online communication (email, conference calls, Teams) to stay connected in a remote environment.
* Strong experience with Excel.
