Electronics Project Engineer

Insight Global is seeking a project engineer to join a Canadian space company. The successful candidate will come from an electronics/electrical engineering background and have an understanding of hardware such as PCB/board design, FPGA software, analog or digital electronics and/or RF-related projects. The successful candidate should have at least two years of project engineering experience and have aspirations of developing their career in project management. The successful candidate must have excellent leadership and communication skills; they will be responsible for building schedules, roadmaps, planning, costing and managing groups.
This role will be on-site x4 days/week Monday-Thursday in the West Island of Montreal.

Insight Global est à la recherche d’un(e) ingénieur(e) de projet pour se joindre à une entreprise spatiale canadienne. La personne retenue aura une formation en génie électronique ou électrique et possédera une bonne compréhension du matériel, notamment la conception de PCB/cartes électroniques, les logiciels FPGA, l’électronique analogique ou numérique et/ou les projets liés aux RF. Le ou la candidat(e) idéal(e) comptera au moins deux années d’expérience en ingénierie de projet et souhaitera développer sa carrière en gestion de projets. D’excellentes compétences en leadership et en communication sont requises ; la personne sera responsable de l’élaboration des échéanciers, des feuilles de route, de la planification, de l’estimation des coûts et de la gestion d’équipes.
Ce poste est en présentiel quatre (4) jours par semaine, du lundi au jeudi, dans l’Ouest-de-l’Île de Montréal.

Understanding of hardware such as board design, FPGA software, analog and/or digital electronics
Minimum of 2 years of project engineering experience
Experience supporting technical engineering teams
Prior experience creating roadmaps, building schedules, maanging groups, costing
Prior hands-on technical experience as an engineer
Familiar with Jira and scaled agile, adapted agile
