Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a PM ideally with some experience working in the construction or electrical/lighting industry to join a one of our Manufacturing Agency clients in Costa Mesa. The right candidate should be local to the San Diego, LA/OC, or surrounding area and be comfortable working in an on-site setting to start and then shifting to a flexible hybrid schedule.

As the Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of construction projects. Your focus will be on documentation, project coordination, and team bandwidth optimization.



Estimated annual compensation based on individual experience between 45-70k annual with some flexibility



Responsibilities:

1. Project Coordination:

* Plan, execute, and oversee construction projects from inception to completion.

* Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.

* Ensure adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.

2. Documentation:

* Maintain accurate project records, including contracts, permits, change orders, and progress reports.

* Create and update project documentation, such as project plans, risk assessments, and communication logs.

3. Team Bandwidth Optimization:

* Allocate tasks efficiently to team members based on their expertise.

* Identify bottlenecks and proactively address resource constraints.

* Foster collaboration and effective communication within the project team.

4. Stakeholder Communication:

* Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related inquiries.

* Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to senior management and stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

At least 1 year of Project Management experience

Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Clickup, Jira, Wrike, Microsoft)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

PMP

Construction industry experience

Experience with electrical construction projects:

---Lighting, EV, Power Distribution/Switchgear
