Summary: Responsible for operating data entry devices such as a keyboard or computer to verify and input data.

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: Read source documents such as canceled checks sales reports or bills and enter data in specific data fields or onto tapes or disks for subsequent entry using keyboards or scanners. Compile sort and verify the accuracy of data before it is entered. Locate and correct data entry errors or report them to supervisors. Compare data with source documents or re-enter data in verification format to detect errors. Maintain logs of activities and completed work. Perform other duties as assigned

  • Prepare review and key information from documents in Rightfax to a source system
  • Prioritize the workflow and maintain balance between high processing volumes and quality to ensure all work is processed in order to meet or exceed established deadlines work received by 4:00pmEST must be processed same day
  • Ensure all comments provided to branches via Optimizer Fax rejects Shared e-mail rejects Livelink and MECH entries are comprehensible and clear
  • Identify escalate any potential risk situations/financial losses to the Senior Service Coordinator and /or Manager
  • Preserve confidentiality of client information by adhering to the clean desk policy at all time ensuring confidential documents are identified and safeguarded according to the established standards and disposed of in the appropriate Bins

  • Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration

    Education/Experience. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 2 years Data Entry experience.

    Competencies: Verbal and written communication skills attention to detail and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage ones time. Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information. Previous experience with computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel.

    Completion of a speed and accuracy data entry test - Nice to have but not required
