One of our large e-commerce clients is seeking a Java AWS Software Engineer to join their payment technology and fraud team. This team is in the process of rearchitecting its current payment technologies. The team is designing and building a brand new microservice platform using the latest tech trends in tools, processes, and cloud runtimes. The primary focus of this role is to ensure the technical integrity of the payment platform and to formulate the technical direction for the ongoing strategic cloud investments. This position will also help contribute to the estimation, analysis, design, implementation, and operations of multiple microservices owned by the team and works closely with the senior tech and business leaders driving the vision and technical strategic objectives throughout the SDLC.
- 5-7 years of hands-on development experience with server-side Java, Spring/Springboot ecosystem
- Working knowledge and hands-on experience with the AWS platform
- B.S. or M.S. in computer science or a related technical area
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and process facilitation
