Job Description

The contract Quality Engineer provides end-to-end quality execution and delivery oversight for digital healthcare solution. This role operates at the intersection of Quality, Product, Engineering, and Regulatory, ensuring that software releases are compliant, tested, traceable, and delivered predictably, while navigating a complex outsourced development model and cross-functional stakeholder environment. The ideal candidate is a hands-on contributor who can drive quality and compliance, and directly engage in testing, defect management, documentation, and regulatory deliverables.

Required Skills & Experience

· Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline preferred)
· 8–12+ year's experience in:
o Software Quality, QA, or Quality Engineering
o Project / Program Management in healthcare or regulated environments
· Strong experience with:
o Agile/Scrum delivery models
o JIRA, backlog management, and defect tracking
o UAT planning and execution
· Demonstrated experience in:
o Regulatory and compliance-driven environments
Cross-functional leadership without direct authority

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

o Digital health / SaMD / non-medical clinical software
o DTAC / DCB0129 / EU MDR / FDA frameworks
o Outsourced or hybrid development models
· Familiarity with:
o Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project/Planner, Teams, Adobe Acrobat or Sign
o Windchill or similar quality/documentation systems
o Data workflows, exports, and clinical data handling
PMP, Agile, or Scrum certification (preferred)
