Job Description

The Forward Deployed Engineer will partner directly with business stakeholders to design, build, and deploy custom AI powered solutions using Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, and Azure AI. This role is hands on: you’ll meet with end users, understand their needs, and rapidly deliver intelligent apps, agents, and automations that improve business outcomes.
This role is about building and owning solutions — not just designing frameworks. You’ll be part of a small, forward deployed team that acts as the first line of intake, troubleshooting, and delivery for enterprise AI initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• AI & Agent Development — Build custom agents; automate workflows and processes using Azure AI.
• Power Platform Engineering — Develop apps, workflows, and connectors in PowerApps and Power Automate; configure environments and security.
• Business Consulting — Work directly with business users to gather requirements, document outcomes, and translate needs into solutions.
• Integration — Connect solutions to enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, HRIS, ServiceNow, Workday) using APIs and approved connectors.
• Governance & Security — Help establish guardrails, intake processes, and standards for Copilot and Power Platform solutions.
• Microsoft 365 Ecosystem — Deploy solutions leveraging Entra ID, Teams, Microsoft Graph, and the broader M365 stack.
• First Escalation Support — Serve as the first point of troubleshooting for agents and automations you build.

Required Skills & Experience

• Hands on experience with Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power Pages).
• Ability to build custom Copilot Studio agents (not just configure templates).
• Familiarity with Azure AI services and prompt engineering.
• Strong understanding of M365 security and authentication (Entra ID, Teams, Microsoft Graph).
• Experience with API integration and event driven workflows.
• Comfort working independently in a small team, owning solutions end to end.
• Strong communication skills to bridge business needs and technical delivery.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

o Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer
o Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate
