Job Description

One of our large utility clients is look for an ESG Associate . He/She will support the execution of DLC’s annual public Corporate Responsibility Report. The individual will lead project management, stakeholder coordination, and report development, ensuring a high-quality deliverable aligned with ESG frameworks and completed on strict timelines.


Responsibilities
• Report Execution & Project Management: Lead the execution of DLC’s annual Corporate Responsibility Report, including development and management of project timelines, milestones and deliverables following an established project plan.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Manage engagement across a broad group of internal stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather inputs, ensure alignment and drive timely contributions.
• Content Development: Draft, edit and refine report content using SME input and prior-year reports as a foundation, ensuring clarity, consistency and alignment with DLC messaging.
• Review and Approval Process: Manage iterative review cycles with Corporate Responsibility team, SMEs and company leadership, incorporating feedback and ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
• Data Collection and Governance: Coordinate the collection and documentation of ESG data, applying strong data governance practices to ensure accuracy, credibility and completeness.
• Timeline and Risk Management: Proactively track progress against deadlines, identify risks or delays and implement mitigation strategies to keep the project on schedule.
• Quality Assurance: Perform thorough reviews to ensure accuracy, consistency and overall quality of both narrative and data throughout the report.
• Brand and Style Adherence: Ensure all content adheres to DLC’s written and brand style guide, maintaining consistency in tone, voice, grammar and branding.
• ESG Framework Alignment: Support reporting in alignment with key ESG disclosure frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB), ensuring content meets applicable standards and expectations.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies, Sustainability, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Communications, or related field.
• Strong project management experience, with the ability to independently manage complex, deadline-driven projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex information into clear, compelling content.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience developing long-form reports (e.g., ESG, Corporate Responsibility, Annual, or Impact Reports.)
• Familiarity with ESG reporting frameworks (GRI, SASB, etc.)
