Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Product Design leader who combines strategic leadership with deep hands-on product design expertise. This individual will lead design across Bentley Open Applications (BOA), one of Bentley's largest and most strategic software portfolios.
This is not a role for a purely theoretical design leader. The ideal candidate has personally designed and launched complex software products, understands modern UX practices, and has successfully scaled design organizations while influencing executive-level product decisions. We're looking for someone who challenges assumptions, pushes teams beyond the status quo, and helps define how AI will transform both Bentley's products and the way design teams operate.

We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer that believes everyone matters. Qualified candidates will receive consideration for employment regardless of their race, color, ethnicity, religion, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, marital status, national origin, ancestry, genetic factors, age, disability, protected veteran status, military or uniformed service member status, or any other status or characteristic protected by applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances. If you need assistance and/or a reasonable accommodation due to a disability during the application or recruiting process, please send a request to HR@insightglobal.com.To learn more about how we collect, keep, and process your private information, please review Insight Global's Workforce Privacy Policy: https://insightglobal.com/workforce-privacy-policy/.

Required Skills & Experience

• 12+ years of Product Design, UX, or User Experience leadership experience.
• Proven experience designing and delivering commercial software products.
• 7+ years leading high-performing Product Design organizations, including experience managing managers and senior leaders.
• Strong product design background, not exclusively design operations, design systems, or academic research.
• Experience partnering directly with Product Management and Engineering leadership on product strategy.
• Demonstrated success influencing executive stakeholders and driving organizational change.
• Experience leading design efforts for enterprise software, B2B SaaS, technical software, or complex user workflows.
• Experience incorporating AI capabilities into products and/or leveraging AI within design workflows.
• Exceptional communication, storytelling, and executive presentation skills.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience within engineering software, infrastructure technology, industrial software, CAD, GIS, construction technology, manufacturing software, or adjacent technical domains.
• Experience supporting large multi-product portfolios.
• Expertise with Figma and modern design ecosystems.
• Experience utilizing AI-powered design tools, including Figma AI and GitHub Copilot.
• Experience building design systems and driving portfolio-wide UX consistency.
• Background working within highly matrixed global organizations.
