Job Description

Our engineering software client is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead product strategy and roadmap development for a platform that enables developers to build, integrate, and scale digital twin and infrastructure-focused applications. This role sits at the intersection of technology, business, and customer engagement, partnering closely with engineering teams, developers, and strategic stakeholders to drive platform innovation and ecosystem growth. The successful candidate will identify market opportunities, translate customer needs into scalable product capabilities, and influence investment decisions across a highly technical portfolio. This is a highly visible leadership role that requires balancing long-term product vision with hands-on execution and cross-functional collaboration.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Lead the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for key platform capabilities that support both internal and external software developers. Work closely with engineering, product, and go-to-market teams to prioritize initiatives, define requirements, and ensure successful delivery of high-impact features. Engage regularly with customers, partners, and developer communities to gather feedback, identify market trends, and uncover opportunities for platform expansion. Analyze product usage, business metrics, and industry developments to continuously refine the roadmap and drive adoption, engagement, and business growth.

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of product management experience, preferably supporting highly technical software products, developer platforms, or infrastructure technologies
Strong track record of owning product strategy, roadmap development, and execution for complex software platforms
Experience working closely with software developers, engineering organizations, and technical stakeholders
Ability to translate customer feedback, market trends, and business objectives into actionable product plans
Strong analytical skills with experience leveraging product usage data, customer insights, and business intelligence to drive decisions
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills across technical and executive audiences
Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving Product, Engineering, and Go-to-Market teams
Previous software development or engineering background

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with digital twin, infrastructure technology, developer tools, or platform products
Knowledge of architecture, engineering, construction (AEC), BIM, or related industries
Experience building or supporting open-source ecosystems and developer communities
Familiarity with API platforms, SDKs, data models, or cloud-based development frameworks
