Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst for a leading transportation and logistics organization. This candidate will play a critical role in supporting financial controllership by analyzing accounting transactions, preparing financial reports, developing key performance metrics, and improving accounting processes through automation and data-driven solutions. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, comfortable working with large datasets, and possesses a strong understanding of financial reporting, internal controls, and process improvement methodologies. Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience
• Strong analytical and data analysis skills
• Experience preparing journal entries and account reconciliations
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Independent problem-solving abilities
• Process mapping experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
• Understanding of accounting transactions, financial reporting, and internal controls

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• MBA, CPA, or CMA
• Experience with data mining and reporting tools (QlikSense, Power Query, etc.)
• Six Sigma, LEAN, ISO, or other quality certifications
• Experience developing automated financial reporting solutions
• ROI analysis and financial modeling experience
• Financial controllership and risk mitigation experience
