Job Description

A leading healthcare client is seeking a Senior BI & Visualization Developer to support high-visibility executive reporting initiatives for their C-suite and VP level audiences. This person will partner closely with business and technology stakeholders to understand reporting needs, define KPIs and metrics, and translate complex business questions into clear, actionable Power BI dashboards and visualizations.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, technically strong, and consultative. They should be able to communicate clearly with senior leaders, understand enterprise business reporting needs across areas like HR, Finance, incident management, SLA reporting, and project accounting, and influence how BI tools can be used to answer business questions—not simply take orders.
Key Responsibilities
• Partner with executive, business, and technology stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and clarify business objectives.
• Translate business needs into technical reporting requirements, KPI definitions, metrics, and dashboard designs.
• Design, develop, and maintain executive-level Power BI dashboards, reports, scorecards, and visualizations.
• Create clean, intuitive, and business-friendly dashboards that clearly communicate trends, risks, performance, and opportunities.
• Work hands-on with SQL, semantic models, data reconciliation, and reporting logic to ensure dashboard accuracy and performance.
• Troubleshoot and optimize poorly performing dashboards, reports, queries, and models.
• Partner with offshore development teams while staying close enough to the technical details to review, tweak, and improve deliverables.
• Advise stakeholders on how BI tools, Microsoft Fabric, and emerging capabilities like Copilot can be used to better answer business questions.
