Job Description

We are seeking a talented Mid-Level Front-End Developer to own and evolve our enterprise Design System platform. This role will be responsible for building, maintaining, and improving reusable UI components, accessibility compliance, and front-end standards that support critical business initiatives, including AI-driven experiences.
Working closely with UX Designers, Product Teams, QA, Accessibility Specialists, and Engineering stakeholders, this developer will play a key role in accelerating delivery velocity, reducing technical debt, and ensuring a consistent user experience across applications.
Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary owner of the organization's Design System platform and component library.
Develop, maintain, and enhance reusable front-end components and frameworks.
Partner closely with UX, Product, Engineering, QA, Accessibility, and AI teams to deliver scalable solutions.
Ensure compliance with accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.2 requirements.
Drive continuous improvements to Design System reliability, governance, and adoption.
Review, optimize, and standardize front-end architecture and development practices.
Resolve UI, accessibility, and Design System issues in a timely manner.
Support AI-related user experience initiatives through modern, scalable front-end development.
Reduce technical debt by modernizing components and improving code quality.
Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and cross-functional planning sessions.

Required Skills & Experience

3–5+ years of professional front-end development experience.
Strong proficiency in:

Tailwind (ideally v4), Storybook, and CSS variables
JavaScript (ES6+)
HTML5
CSS3/SCSS


Experience developing and maintaining Design Systems or component libraries.
Knowledge of accessibility standards and WCAG compliance requirements.
Experience working with modern CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git).
Strong collaboration and communication skills in an agile environment.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience supporting enterprise-scale applications.
Familiarity with Figma and design-to-development workflows.
Experience implementing AI-enabled user experiences.
Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and accessibility testing tools.
Experience with lit.dev, web components, Chromatic and Github Actions experience.
Experience managing a design token workflow would be ideal who has experience with Style Dictionary (especially v4+).
